Meet Miranda Loos

In my role as Business Development Specialist for the Robertson Center for Intercultural Leadership (CIL), I’m thrilled to lead the goal of expanding our reach to a wider community, one that surpasses the Berkeley borders. CIL facilitates a deeper level of understanding of cultural differences, equipping our residents, Berkeley staff, and students with intercultural leadership skills—skills that they can take with them throughout their lives and careers.

Over the past year, CIL has taken on various initiatives to enhance intercultural learning for students, staff, and faculty such as: Fulbright Re-entry Seminar; Peer to Career; the Intercultural Leadership Institute; and the Xiangfei Leadership and Innovation Program.

I encourage you to visit the website, sign-up for CIL updates, and share your knowledge of our programs to those in your network. Feel free to reach out to me directly to share your ideas, suggestions, and experiences, mloos@berkeley.edu.

Morgan Randall, as featured in The Promise of Berkeley.

One lucky I-House alum who donates on November 17th will win a detailed portrait drawn by I-House resident Morgan Randall! Click here for an example.

Contest details: Winner will be selected after 11/18 and contacted by phone or email. If the winner is local, they can meet Morgan at I-House for a portrait session. If they live elsewhere, they can provide a photo for him and the finished portrait will be mailed to the winner. This is Morgan’s last semester before he graduates so the deadline for portrait session is December 10th. Good luck!
