16. Returning to visit the Chevron Auditorium where they
met at an I-House welcome dance, Beat and Katie
Schwendimann (IH 2007-09) were thrilled. ey have
been married for six years and have a five-month-old
daughter.
17. Former I-House Board Member and I-House alumnus
J. Dennis Bonney (IH 1954-55) brought his daughter
and his grandchildren to see where he lived when he
attended Berkeley in the 1950s. He hopes this visit will
be an inspiration for his grandchildren to attend UC
Berkeley and live at I-House someday.
18. Former Program Assistant Camille Sayous (IH 2013-
14), Jim Austboe (IH 2013-14), and omas Chevrier
(IH 2013-14) while on a road trip across the U.S., had
to stop in to see the newly renovated Game Room and to
visit Larnie Macasieb from the Program Office.
19. While attending a conference in San Francisco, Andreas
Heine (IH 1986-87) visited I-House before his return
flight to Germany that evening to revisit his former
home. He enjoyed reminiscing and seeing I-House once
more.
20. On a visit with Joy Iwasa, Associate Director of
Philanthropy, Nancy Tivol (IH 1965-67) enjoyed seeing
her old stomping grounds again!
21. Artist Laura Siegel Venning (IH 1968-70) came to
visit her painting, "Li River China" that she donated
in 2010 to I-House.
22. After visiting her former room, Ida Rigby
(IH 1966-69) enjoyed staying in the Ambassador
Suite, having breakfast with I-House residents, and
meeting Jennifer Momoh, the inaugural recipient of
the Ida Katherine Rigby Scholarship.
