International House Times 13 8. Seattle resident, Kamran Nemati (IH 1984-95), on his way to vacation in Cancun, was able to see I-House during his layover in San Francisco. He is very proud to note that he is the resident to have lived the longest at I-House. 9. Harriet "Hatti" Sudell (IH 2013-14), a former resident program assistant from London, England, came by while she was in town for a friend's wedding to surprise Larnie Macasieb, from the Program Office. 10. While visiting San Francisco from London, England, Christopher Ball (IH 1959-60) made sure to stop at I-House to see his floor and the Great Hall. His tour sparked memories of when he met "a very young senator from the state of Massachusetts on campus." He was also very proud that his wife, when she was 17 years old, performed at Queen Elizabeth II's coronation. 11. Hassan Sadrudoin Boolani (IH 1960s) was delighted to walk through the halls of I-House again with his family. Seeing the I-House mailboxes again brought back many delightful memories for him. 12. I-House Board member and 1968 Cal alumnus Bob Wong hosted a group of 1968 I-House alumni to lunch and a tour. ree I-House alumni explored I-House again and enjoyed lunch in the Dining Commons. 13. It had been 43 years since Michel Wormser (IH 1974-75) was last at I-House. His tour revived his old memories from the time he lived at I-House when he was 21 years old. A few years after leaving I-House, he joined the World Bank. e years he spent at I-House were perfect preparation for his career and primed his passion for the richness that can be found only in diversity. 14. Pierre Wallart (IH 1967) came from France to visit his daughter and her family in Berkeley. ey stopped by I-House to show his grandson where he lived when he attended Berkeley in the sixties.
