A Benefit for International House Celebrating
Sherry & Betsey Warrick's 70th Wedding Anniversary
Sherry Warrick, executive director of I-House from
1961-87, and his wife, Betsey were the guests of
honor on Saturday, September 19th at a benefit
for I-House which recognized them for 70 years of
marriage. Over 200 I-House alumni and friends
gathered to recognize Sherry and Betsey for their
steadfast commitment to the I-House mission, as well
as each other. is night of memories and friendship
included a performance by the UC Berkeley Men's
Octet; an intimate interview with Sherry and Betsey
led by their son, Dan; a singalong; and a dessert reception in the newly renovated I-House
Dining Commons. Narsai David generously donated wine for the evening's festivities,
and the 2015 I-House Raffle was held, which included prizes such as dinner with Sherry
and Betsey and a two-night stay in Lake Tahoe (provided by I-House Board member
Milan Kaur).
