"e first American family I met when I came to the US six years ago, was part of the Host Family program here at I-House. So I'm very honored to be the coordinator of a program that meant so much to me." e International House Host Family Program relaunched on Sunday, September 14th with a beautiful reception in the Heller Patio. e outcome was amazing: 125 people (hosts, guests and I-House staff) celebrating together the power of understanding through hospitality. e reception was one of those you'd never want to leave. Beautiful weather, delicious food and drinks, wonderful vibe, languages mixing and new friendships forming. It was clear to everyone that a new, vibrant community was re-born under the Dome. As the personal matchmaker and Host Family Program Manager, I am already brainstorming other events for participants. Stay tuned, and happy year of hospitality at I-House!
