Dear I-House Residents, This year marked my first serving of this vibrant community, and I've come to appreciate the profound impact and beauty that our house has on the world. Each of you has created moments with lasting impacts. Every conversation, whether it involved disagreements or the extension of empathy, contributed to our collective development. As you flip through this yearbook in the years to come, may you recognize all the love, bravery, and passion that it took for each individual to share in these moments. Cheers to you for taking the steps to build yourself up, to come here, and to learn from the world. Countless times, I witnessed many of you going out of your way to ensure your fellow scholars felt safe and heard. Beyond everything else, many of you also took the time to share your culture and community with us. Thank you for filling our days with music, dance moves, and ways of thinking. Your collective vulnerability and care fostered a house environment where folks felt they could be their authentic selves and share their stories. This house is special because of you. Be confident that your memories here will endure. As you reminisce through these pages, I encourage you to reflect on the following questions: Who was I? Who left a positive impact on me? What lessons did I learn from my fellow scholars? How did my time here support my efforts to make the world a more just and peaceful place? A special thank you to my team, the RAs who made this house feel like home.
