EMBRACING DIVERSITY AND GLOBAL CONNECTIONS
AT INTERNATIONAL HOUSE
Residents at our lovely diverse home immerse themselves
in a tapestry of cultures, traditions, and perspectives,
fostering a transformative environment that goes beyond
just a dormitory.
I-House is a cultural melting pot where lifelong friendships
and connections are forged, transcending borders and
cultivating intercultural understanding. The initiative led by
Excellence Joshua, a Global Community Ambassador,
highlighted the stories and contributions of the diverse
residents, particularly those from the African diaspora.
Through interviews with current and former I-House
residents, a rich history of trailblazing Black leaders, who
have shaped the fabric of the community were uncovered.
These stories of resilience, achievement, and a
commitment to a more just and inclusive world serve as
inspiration for future generations of I-House residents to
dream big and pursue their passions within this welcoming
environment.
The I-House experience is a testament to the power of
diversity, where the sharing of meals, traditions, and
narratives cultivates a deeper appreciation for the global
community and a shared vision for a more connected
world through very relevant moments like Black History
Month.
