he International House Annual Celebration and Awards
Gala proudly honors advocates and trailblazers who
embody the mission of I-House, to promote a world of
greater peace and understanding.
is year we are pleased to announce that UC Berkeley
Chancellor Carol Christ, Chair of the International House
Board of Directors, will present Oona King (IH 1989-90),
with the Alumna of the Year Award to recognize her visionary
leadership serving as the director of diversity strategy at
Google, a member of the British Parliament, and an advocate
for human rights.
e event begins with a warm greeting by our Resident Hosts,
many of them dressed in their traditional home country attire,
followed by an elegant reception in the Great Hall. Guests
will then be escorted to the Chevron Auditorium to enjoy an
engaging awards ceremony, captivating resident performances,
and an exquisite three-course meal prepared by the I-House
Catering Team led by Todd Koenigsberg, Executive Chef.
We hope you can join us for this annual fête. Tickets are $275
per person, or $150 for those under 35 years of age, and can
be purchased online at ihouse.berkeley.edu/gala.

24-hour fundraising blitz — is one of them. Help make an

We invite you to join in on the Big Give fun and help us
reach our goal of 150 gifts! All I-House Big Give donations
go toward the Fund for I-House, which supports our mission
and provides the I-House experience to more than 100
students from across the globe through our financial aid
program.
