The I-House Connection: Get Ready for Big Give and Gala

Dear I-House Friends,

Get Ready for Cal Big Give on March 8th

I-House will be participating in UC Berkeley’s Big Give, a 24-hour online fundraising blitz on March 8th. This year,  I-House will be celebrating its 88th Anniversary in August. In honor of this milestone, the first 88 donations to I-House on Big Give day will be matched with an additional $100 by Susan Klee and the Berkeley Club of Switzerland. So, all gifts make a bigger impact! This support enables us to expand our programs and provide financial aid so others can be a part of the I-House experience.

Three Ways to Participate in Big Give Day:

1. Make a gift of $10 or more to I-House.

2. Share your favorite “I-House Moment” on Social Media.  Need a reminder? Join Big Give for I-House Event on our Facebook page, or add it to your calendar:

3. I-House Moments Lunch in the Dining Commons
11:30 am to 1:30 pm
Your I-House experience is made up of many memorable moments. Moments of realization. Moments of glory. A-ha moments of truth and moments you will remember for the rest of your days. Was it when you attended an event, moved into I-House, met your roommate for the first time, had coffee with friends during Coffee Hour?  We would love to record your I-House memories on video and photos on Thursday, March 8th from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Lunch is $10 at the door for non-I-House residents and $8 for I-House alumni.

The Global Ambassador of Peace and Public Service Award will be presented to Ambassador Irving Tragen (IH 43-47), and The Young Alumni Initiative Award will be presented to members of the WattTime staff team.

Discussion on inclusive global leadership and high-performing teams
A meaningful discourse on inclusion with Chancellor Christ, Ambassador Irving Tragen,
and the WattTime team moderated by Jason Patent, Director of the Robertson Center for Intercultural Leadership
