You can make your Big Give gift go further at I-House
Big Give is on Thursday, March 8th, but you can help us spread the word now!
Dear I-House Friends,
We are in the final countdown for UC Berkeley’s Big Give, a 24-hour online fundraising blitz. All online donations made to International House between 9 pm PST on Wednesday, March 7th and 9 pm PST on Thursday, March 8th will be counted toward Big Give.
Check out this video made by current I-House residents Claire Liow and Joyce Lee. Please share the video to help spread the word on your own networks!
There are many ways to participate on Big Give Day:
1. Make a gift of $10 or more to I-House at give.berkeley.edu/ihouse.
In honor of our 88th Anniversary, the first 88 donations to I-House on Big Give day will be matched with an additional $100 by Susan Klee and the Berkeley Club of Switzerland. Please help us hit our goal of surpassing 88 donations. This support enables us to expand our programs and provide financial aid so others can be a part of the I-House experience.
2. Share your favorite “I-House Moment” on Social Media. Seize the moment with a photo or short video and share on Instagram and Twitter with both #CalBigGive and #InternationalHouse hashtags to help I-House win contests! (See below.)
3. I-House Moments Lunch in the Dining Commons
11:30 am to 1:30 pm
Your I-House experience is made up of many memorable moments. Moments of realization. Moments of glory. A-ha moments of truth and moments you will remember for the rest of your days. Was it when you attended an event, moved into I-House, met your roommate for the first time, had coffee with friends during Coffee Hour? We would love to record your I-House memories on video and photos on Thursday, March 8th from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Lunch is $10 at the door for non-I-House residents and $8 for I-House alumni.
Big Give I-House Alumni Contest
One lucky I-House alum who donates on Big Give day will win an I-House gift bag full of swag.
Contest details: Winner will be selected after 3/9/18 and contacted by phone or email.

To add competitive fun to Big Give, there are campus-wide contests where you can help I-House win additional funds.
